The Conway Center for Family Business Awards Program annually recognizes Central Ohio family businesses and individuals in several categories. Descriptions of the award categories are listed below the nomination form on this page.
Nominations are open year-round! Nominate a family business, including your own, by filling out the submission form below. Nominees do not have to be members of the Conway Center to be considered for an award. The nominations for 2024 are closed, but nominations are open to be considered for a 2025 award.
2024 Honorees will be recognized at the Family Business Awards Program on on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Hilton Easton.
Conway Center Champion
Recognizes organizations or individuals that have shown significant support to the success of the Conway Center or who have made substantial gifts during life, and/or have included the Conway Center for Family Business in their estate plans.
Family Business of the Year
Recognizes a family business that has made a significant contribution to their industry or the Central Ohio business community. Winner in this category will be asked to give short remarks.
J. Richard Emens Lifetime Achievement
Recognizes a family business leader who has made a significant contribution to their industry or the Central Ohio business community. Winner in this category will be asked to give short remarks.
Milestone Achievement
Recognizes family businesses that have reached a significant anniversary milestone during the award year.
Resiliency Award
Recognizes a family business that has persevered, re-invented themselves, worked hard on sustainability of the family business, and/or that has come back from adversity.
Rising Star
Recognizes a family or non-family next generational leader who is making a measurable impact on the family business.
Succession Planning
Recognizes family businesses that have developed or completed a succession plan or a transfer of leadership.
