What is Talent? Job Matching: Selecting Superior Performers

2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
565 Metro Place South, Suite 180 Dublin, OH 43017

Have you ever hired someone whose best day on the job was the day they interviewed? Have you ever wondered why? If you were interviewing would you “puff” (think about it)? How does your organization get through the “puff” in the selection and hiring process?
Businesses today are challenged to find better ways to secure the right talent for success. But what talent does a job require for superior performance? Only the JOB has the answer, so let the job talk and listen carefully.
We will explore:
- If the job could talk what would it reveal?
- Impact of hiring mistakes.
- BIAS – The #1 challenge in the selection process.
- What three attributes are key to any job.
- Can a strong brand carry a weak sales force?
- IQ vs. EQ (emotional intelligence)
- Why failure to use assessments as part of our hiring or screening process limits the ability to accurately select superior performers.
